This sentence comes from a slip of the tongue I made when I was speaking English. I wanted my friend to play chess with me, but I said cheese. It was a little awkward. But if you think about
it, embarrassment is neither a negative emotion nor a positive emotion. It's actually a defensive mental activity. It can protect us from the more terrifying emotions, such as shame and self-
doubt even trauma. I want to try to get close to my embarrassment and see what happens, hopefully I can forgive myself for making mistakes when I speak English.
